M.A.T.T. – Level Designer - Spring 2010
An isometric 3D tactics game, with focus on player options before battle.
- Commissioned to create level concepts and levels to exact specifications.
- Built game geography and world setting.
- Assisted in development of game campaign.
Seven Hour War - Level Designer - Spring 2009
An arc of seven levels based on the the background between Valve’s Half-life and Half-life 2.
- Led production for the final level of the arc.
- Responsible for level concept, all geometry, detail texturing, and prop placement.
- Managed arc polish, kept levels setting accurate, and consistent with each other.
Goblin Tower - (April – May) 2009
A unique castle building board game for two to five players. Each player takes the role of a single architect (Working on the same tower as the other players.) to accomplish their goals.
- Created a visceral experience, where players use actual blocks to build a tower in three dimensions.
Alien Snack Run - (March – April) 2009
A simple family oriented board game for four players. Each player attempt to score as many points as possible before one of each type of resource is collected.
- Developed the distinct method of board movement used in the game.
Teacher’s Assistant (GAT 305) - Fall 2008
Graded for GAT 305 (2D Level Design) for students using a Real Time Strategy Game editor.
- Assisted students to create better functional and aesthetically pleasing designs.
Product Tester (Nintendo of America) - (Summer) 2008 / 2009
Worked as a quality assurance tester on a number of projects.
- Significant experience working with sensitive project information.
Silica - Level Designer / Producer - Spring 2008
A networked, multi-player 2D shooter, similar to Geometry Wars.
- Began working with team partway into the project to solidify design and game flow.
